- 作品解説: 日本の最東端といわれる北海道のノサップ岬。季節のよい夏の作品ながら曇天の空に荒れた海、水平線は霞んでいる。風景写生は天気の悪い日に取材をすることになる場合もあるだろう。それがかえって地形の面白さや材質感へと眼が向く良い機会となることもあるのだと、この作品は語っている。Description: Cape Nosap in Hokkaido, the easternmost point of Japan. Although the work was taken during the fine summer season, the cloudy sky, stormy sea, and hazy horizon are all in the background. In some cases, landscape photographers may have to take pictures on days with bad weather. This work tells us that this can be a good opportunity to appreciate the interest of the topography and the materiality of the landscape.
