- 作品解説: 画面の少し低い位置に蜜柑と陶製の水差しがテーブルの上に構成されている。初めに茶褐色の絵具で下描きをし、その後その茶色を生かしながらそれぞれの固有色を塗り重ねている。左の方向に窓があり、そこから入る光をとらえつつ、質感に気を付けながら奇をてらわず完成させているところが柏亭らしい。Description: A ceramic jug and a mandarin orange are placed on a table slightly low in the painting. The painting was first underpainted with brown paint, and then each specific color was painted on top of the other while maintaining the brown color. There is a window to the left, and while capturing the light coming in through the window, the work is completed without being eccentric, taking care of the texture, which is typical of Kashiwa-tei.
