- 作品解説: 薄曇りの海岸に木の小舟が数隻停泊している。手前では笠を被った人物が何かの手入れをしているようで、漁が終わったあとの片付けをしているのかもしれない。右手奥には長い桟橋が見え、島へとつながっている。江の島のようでもあるが、不明。昭和 25 年に写生されているが、より古い時代の風景にも見え、柏亭が景色に抒情性を感じた以外に、郷愁の念を抱きながら描いたのではないかと思えてくる。Description: Several small wooden boats are anchored on a lightly overcast beach. In the foreground, a person wearing a hat appears to be tending to something, perhaps cleaning up after the fishing season. A long pier can be seen at the far right, leading to an island. It looks like Enoshima, but it is unknown. Although the painting was sketched in 1950, it appears to be a scene from an older time, which makes us think that Kashiwa-tei may have painted it with a sense of nostalgia, in addition to his lyrical feeling for the scenery.
