- 作品解説: 満月を背景に梅の花が大きく描かれている。梅の枝には、たらし込みの技法が用いられ、枝の質感だけでなく、月の明かりで照らされた反射光の感じまでもが墨と金泥との混じり合いによって表されている。梅の枝ぶりに高い意匠性を感じるとともにアールヌーボーとの関連性も指摘できるかもしれない。Description: A large plum blossom is depicted against the background of a full moon. The branches of the plum blossoms are painted using the tarashikomi technique, and not only the texture of the branches but also the reflection of the moonlight is expressed by the mixture of sumi ink and gold paint. The plum tree branches are highly designed and may be related to the Art Nouveau style.
