- 作品解説: 水平線を画面のほぼ中央に置き、満月の空を強調する。雲は月の光に照らされ周縁部分のみが明るくなっている。海はおだやかで、遠くの島がシルエットとなり浮かぶ。手前に大きく配された松はなだらかに湾曲し、その間から帆船と小舟がのぞいている。形がすべてやわらかく様式化されており、やまと絵などを参考にした竹喬独自の画風がここにある。Description: The horizon line is placed almost in the center of the image to emphasize the full moon sky. The clouds are illuminated by the moon's light, and only the edges are brightened. The sea is calm, and an island in the distance floats in silhouette. The large pine tree in the foreground is gently curved, and a sailboat and a small boat peek out from between them. All of the shapes are softly stylized, and here we see Chikkyo's unique style of painting, which was inspired by Yamato-e and other styles.
