- 作品解説: 岐阜県白川郷近くの人工湖である御母衣湖を描いた作品。白山国立公園の山々が雪を被って白く、湖の近くにもところどころ雪が残っている。まだ肌寒さを感じる景色を鬼頭は現地で写生したことが四隅の画鋲の跡からわかる。眼前に広がる景色を見た感動が醒めないうちに素早く景色を捉えているため、勢いのあるみずみずしい作品に仕上がっている。Description: This work depicts Lake Mimogai, an artificial lake near Shirakawa-go, Gifu Prefecture. The mountains of Hakusan National Park are covered with snow and white, and snow remains in some places near the lake. The rivet marks in the corners of the work indicate that Kito sketched this still chilly landscape on site. Kito captured the scenery quickly before the excitement of seeing it unfold before his eyes, resulting in a vigorous and fresh work of art.
