- 作品解説: 紅梅の古木にとまり、春の訪れを告げる鶯の図は正月の掛軸として用いられた。紅梅の香りと鶯の声という、絵画では表現できない要素を加味した画題である。水分をたっぷりと含ませた筆で、淡い色調に仕上げている。Description: This painting of a bush warbler perching on an old red plum tree to herald the arrival of spring was used as a New Year's hanging scroll. The fragrance of the red plum blossoms and the sound of the bush warbler are elements that cannot be expressed in a painting. The brush was moistened with plenty of water to create a light color tone.
