- 作品解説: 木瓜（ボケ）の花に蜂が飛ぶ図は、翠雲が好んだ画題で、「誰よりも早く出世をする」という寓意がある。花びらの輪郭線が軽快であるのは、この花の特徴を表すとともに春の陽気をも表現しているのであろう。款記の、「春山一入尋無路、鳥響煙深水満渓」は中国の唐の詩人・司空曙（しくうしょ）の詩『送張煉師還峨眉山』を引用している。Description: The image of a bee flying over the blossoms of a jucumber is a favorite subject of Suiun's, and has the allegorical meaning of "getting ahead of everyone else in life. The light outline of the petals is a characteristic of this flower and also expresses the joyous spring weather. The inscription "Chunshan yiriririmuji, fowl echoing smoke, deep waters and full valleys" is a reference to the Chinese Tang Dynasty poet Shiku Akebono's poem "Sending Zhang Lunshi back to Mount Emei" (Sending Zhang Lunshi back to Mount Emei).
