- 作品解説: 讃岐の金刀比羅宮の表参道ではなく、裏参道からの景色が描かれている。鉛筆で軽くアタリを取ったのち、空の部分は垂らし込み、樹々の葉は点描を使うなど、持てる技術を駆使した労作である。鮮やかな色彩がいくつか使われており、単なる写生ではなく画家によるモチーフの色彩変換=絵画化が行われている。Description: This work depicts a view from the back approach to the Konpira Shrine in Sanuki, instead of the front approach. The artist made full use of his technical skills by lightly applying pencil, then hanging in the sky, and using dotted lines for the leaves of the trees. The use of several vivid colors indicates that the artist has transformed the motif into a painting, rather than simply sketching it.
