- 作品解説: 画面左側を占める樹はヤブツバキであろうか。ヤブツバキの上部に少しだけ空を描くことで劇場の幕のような不自然さを回避している。遠くの山や湖は板絵の滑らかさを生かして透き通るように描かれ、手前の家々は塊としての一体感を出すために普通ならば個々の家どうしを筆跡でつなげたりするがその代わりに統一感ある色調で、バラバラとした感じを免れている。全体がすがすがしい空気にあふれている。Description: The tree on the left side of the screen is probably a camellia japonica. The artist has avoided the unnaturalness of a theater curtain by painting a bit of sky above the camellia. The mountains and lake in the distance are painted transparently, taking advantage of the smoothness of the board, and the houses in the foreground are connected by brushstrokes to create a sense of unity, but instead, a uniform color tone is used to avoid a disjointed feeling. Instead, the color tones are unified and the whole place is filled with a refreshing atmosphere.
