- 作品解説: 本作は、裏面の出品票から 1953 年の第 39 回光風会展に出品した 3 点のうちの 1 点にあたることがわかる。シスレーが愛したモレ―は、佐伯祐三をはじめ近代の画家たちが多く訪れた場所である。鉛筆で大まかなアウトラインを描いたあと、点描を中心にして水彩で丁寧に風景を描写している。どの時期に訪問して制作したものであるかは不明。Description: This work was one of the three paintings exhibited at the 39th Kofukai exhibition in 1953, as indicated by the entry slip on the reverse side. Morey, beloved by Sisley, was visited by many modern painters, including Yuzo Saeki. After drawing a rough outline in pencil, the artist carefully depicted the landscape in watercolor, using mainly dots. It is unclear at what period of time he visited and produced this work.
