- 作品解説: 本作の魅力のひとつは、遠くの方から順番に、よどみなく描かれているその手際の良さであろう。爽やかな青い空と背後から日光が降り注ぐ様、南仏の乾いた空気が見事に表現されており、見る人に開放感を与えてくれる。Description: One of the charms of this work is the skill with which it is painted, starting from the far side and working in sequence without any stutter. The crisp blue sky, the sunlight pouring down from behind, and the dry air of the south of France are beautifully rendered, giving the viewer a sense of freedom.
