Kiyomitsu Torii (鳥居清光; 1938 – 24 May 2021) was a Japanese painter, ukiyo-e artist and theatre designer. She studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts.She received the 1986 Avon Art Award, the 1988 Shin Hasegawa Award, the 1994 Japan Theater Industry Association Award and the 2016 37th Matsuo Performing Arts Award. She received the Medal of honor with Yellow Ribbon in 2005.Torii died in Tokyo on 24 May 2021, aged 83, from heart failure.
